Hypotonous eye holding pressure at 5-6

I had 5 retina surgeries on my left eye. Not much vision and no prognosis for improved vision. But trying to preserve the movement I can see and my precious eye itself. After surgery #5 on 12/27, the pressure was around 5 for a few days, the 2 for a couple of weeks. I went to a glaucome specialist to get tips on eye pressure. He advised me to use atropine 3 times a day. I have. Pressure was up to 6 very quickly. That was 2 weeks ago. It was measured at 5 yesterday. I am very grateful and the consensus of 3 doctors is that the prognosis is good for the life of the eye.

The two retinologists say that it cannot be said for certain that the atropine raised my pressure. You are so experienced, knowledgeable and kind, do you have any feed back on my current concerns? I was using pred forte every hour from week 3 until yesterday; now I am on Pre Forte every 3 hours, and atropine twice a day.

Thanks for listening and for your invaluable answers for everyone,

as more time goes by and the IOP increases the more likely it is to stay there.

If my pressure is raised from the passage of time, would it mean that it will last longer--not necessarily, right?

Atropine can sometimes help raise pressure in a hypotonous eye eye as can steroids as can "the passage of time".
