I have an eye freckle, can it be removed?

Upon visiting a foreign country, I developed a brown spot on the white of my eye (it looks like a freckle). Ever since then, everyone points it out and it makes me feel so uncomfortable with my looks. I visited an eye doctor who told me it was nothing but a mere pigment, and that it doesn't affect my health or vision in any way. I visited her when I was 16, and she told me that by the time i'm 18 if I still really want it removed - she'll remove it for me. I'm really considering going to her for this surgery, because I absolutely can't stand this eye freckle. I'd do anything to have it removed, thats how much it constantly bothers me. I was wondering if anyone else has this/had this in their eye and had it removed? Is it possible I have it removed and looking white the way it's supposed to with no visible scar?

Thanks

Doctor, I have contacted an eye Surgeon and sent him pictures of my eye, he told me that spot can be removed easily and without clinical following up or any thing like that, just entering the operations theater , what could you say about that?

Only an exam by an ophthalmologist Eye MD surgeon can tell you if it should be removed and if it can be removed.  Those two are not always the same answer

Thank you for your response. My eye doctor told me she'd remove it for me though, because she knows how much it bothers me - also, i'm willing to pay as much as it costs. She also told me the risk of scaring or reoccurence is very small because she examined the freckle and said it would be a quick healing. Should I go through with it?

No one is going to want to operate on you: 1. you're a minor 2. it's a cosmetic operation and insurance generally doesn't cover and 3. risks include scaring and reoccurence.
