Inbalance of eye image?

Dear Doctor,

I'm going to have right eye cataract surgery, my doctor target monfocal for -0.5, so I will see distance. But since my left eye is wearing contact lens -6.5. Am I going to have eye image inbalance between 2 eyes since one is wearing contact len -6.5, other won't need any contact len after cataract surgery?

Thank you very much for you precious time and help.

Dear Dr. Oyakawa,

Thank you very much for your time and the answer.

May I ask you one more question: Left eye without cataract and wearing -6.5 contact len, if remove cataract on right eye, which one will have less image difference between 2 eyes and less anisokouia :
1. right eye focus for distance vision.
2. right eye focus for near reading vision.

Have a nice weekend!
