Is it urgent?

I had vision problems 3 mornings in a row last weekend. I had dark and double vision for the first few hours each day. I went to get my eyes checked at an eyeglass store and they measured my IOP in that eye at 23 mmHG and told me that the lens was no longer round. The vision improved followed by a severe headache extending into my sinus, teeth, and that side of my head. This is better but the pressure in my eye and sinus remain. I am taking advair for Asthma, have a history of TMD and developed floaters in this eye about a year ago. The vein in the temple has also been rather blue for some time now. The first appointment I could get with an eye specialist is in two weeks. I just want to make sure this doesn't sound like something more urgent and if anyone might have an idea of what it is? The other side of my head is just fine, thank you.

Double vision and dark vision call for an eye EXAM ASAP. I would go to an ER with an ophthalmologist on staff.

I think this should be seen by an specialist more quickly than 2 weeks. Try and get an earlier appt, or go to an ER with an ophtomologist on staff.
