hello,
Thank you again for your advise. I will visit doctors to try to prevent as much as possible a new chalazion.
If it is a chronic condition that is ok as long as I can prevent the "lump" itself to stay on my eyelid. So my next question is, once it appears, what is the best that I can do in order to avoid the chalazion to get hard and stay on eyelid?
Thank you for your patience.
Going to dermatologist is useful as it may also be triggered by some skin conditions.
vitamin/nutrient deficiency will not likely cause these kind of problems, but thyroid imbalance can result in proper absorption of these nutrients from the food.
So its useful to go to other specialists like Dermatologist, Endocrinologist etc along with Ophthalmologist.
Please keep in mind that these kind of issues are usually chronic in nature & should not allow these to interfere with your self confidence. one way to do this is to full acceptance & ignoring this condition.
thank you very much for your will to help and sorry coming back to you only now.
Dr. Oyakawa, I've been looking for oculoplastic surgeon in Berlin but it seems there is no any! If you could recommend someone in this city or in Germany I would very much appreciate it.
Des900, Thank you very much for the tips and I will follow strictly for the rest of my life.
I have two more questions. Thank you very much for your patience to answer:
- Would it be useful to look for the help of a dermatologist to work on a treatment to prevent recurrence? (I have develop 3 in 6 months so I guess there is a pattern and chances to get new in the future if I don't act)
- Is Chalazion related to a lack of any vitamine/nutrient? I've read that Vitamin A could help to prevent them from coming back.
Again thank you. This is really driving me crazy and my self confidence has decreased way too much.
Looking forward,
All the best,
Carlos
This should be surgically removed at this point. Find another ophthalmologist or an oculo-plastic surgeon.

You can apply some steroid free antibiotic ointment in those regions which will help to minimize itching and other irritation. fresh honey is useful for some home remedy.
Regularly clean your eye lids using baby shampoo with q-tip as this help to prevent blocking of meibomian glands.
Apply considerable heat (which you can bear) on them which will also reduce its size.
Change pillow, bed sheet etc frequently etc.
