Macular inflammation

Hello, I am from Bulgaria. I saw this forum and I thought that somebody here may help me find a good doctor for my father. He has a rare illness of the eyes, bulgarian doctors say that it is Inflammation of the macula, but they are not absolutely certain and apparently don`t know how to cure it. They prescribed him a lot of medicines, but nothing helps. His eyesight is 10-15%, it is better sometimes, sometimes gets worse. He has also a bacteria - toksoplazmoza, but doctors say the illness is not because of it. He visits the best eye doctors in Bulgaria, but they can`t help. I`m sure, that there are good clinics abroad - with better apparatuses and doctors. Please, if you could recommend me some good clinic in Europe or somewhere else, where there are competent doctors on the issue,  I would be very thankfull!! I could give you more detailed information from the documentation of the doctors he visited.

I should say that my father is 48 years old, the illness is not macular degeneration. It is some kind of inflammation.

You can go to their internet website and go to the "contact us" part. Or you can ask your Bulgarian doctors to arrange an out of country referral to a world class tertiary referral center.

And how should I proceed? I have never got in touch with foreign hospitals, what should I do? I`m sorry for the stupid question, but I really want to do something. And thank you for the swift answer.
