read the article by John C. Hagan III MD on this page about dry eyes. There is no "best" artifical tear for everyone. There is a "best" tear for you that you'll have to find by trying many.

Update: after a few months I discovered that what i had was allergy and dry eye. I am very happy to use a monofocal iol (SN60WF Acon) I can drive at any time without glasess. I just need reading glasses for reading and computer (+1.5) I still notice the size difference but it is not so disturbing. I have developed a great sensibility in my eyes. Some times the wind makes my eyes so dry that I hardly can keep them open. Strong smells do the same thing. (perfume, smoke, etc). In the morning it is worst. Do i have any other choice than artificial tears ? Is it a chance that my eyes will be more normal (wet) ?. (excuse my english)
The size of the image in the two eyes in not unusual or troubling and glasses will generally make the image size equal or almost equal. However the foggy area in your right eye is troubling and I would suggest you call your surgeon's office to report it. It's not normal and an explanation needs to be sought.

I Had caracts surgery on my right eye 18 days ago. It was long because a threw up 2 times during the surgery. After a few days, I noticed like a foggy area that was there sometimes and still shows up today frequently. It is there most of the time.
Four days ago i had surgery on my left eye. I had general anesthesia and every thing was perfect.
Now I see so well from my left eye and I notice that I see objects a bit smaller but sharper than my right eye.
I have to visit my doctor in 10 days. Should I have to visit him before that? Will I see well ? . (Forgive my English)
Thanks doctor Hagan. It took 4 days but now it is OK.
Carbacol usually lasts a lot longer than 6 hrs, there are several posts about people with similiar problem, it closes the pupil not the retina, lasts longer in blue-gray-green light color iris. Relax it will wear off.
