I went to the eye doctor yesterday and he checked my eyes and said they were fine and my vision was perfect even above 20/20 he even dilated my eyes and he couldnt see anything i asked him to check for herpes but he said he couldnt find anything...yet my eyes still goes blurry but he had no clue as to why...should i be worried and get a second opinion or should i take his word for it?
Yes, the antivirals can be taken daily to suppress herpes anywhere in your body. However, this is not done for ocular herpes unless there are a lot of recurrences since it can be managed by topical antivirals. I am not an expert in this area.
