New RK IOL information by Uday Devgan

Dear RK friends and helpful physicians,

I just discovered two new articles which I am finding very informative.  One is a new RK and lens article by Dr. Devgan and the other is a glossary of ophthalmology terms.  In the first article, I learned that Dr. Devgan believes that a number of different types of lenses may be suitable for post RK people and he also identifies one new lens which is presently in clinical trials.   The other article is a neat list of ophth. words which are explained in layman's terms.  I do not know how to hyperlink these articles into this medhelp posting.  So if anyone out there knows how to do it, please let me know.  Thank you.

Look at the Crystalens website.  At the bottom of the first page you can enter a zip code and find a Crystalens doctor.  Pick a center of excellence.

Would you happen to know of certain ophthalmologists in the Tampa Bay area of Florida (Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, Sarasota, Bradenton) who I might consider seeing for an exam for possible lens implant and possible LRI?  I am 67, post RK and lasik, presbyopic, and hyperopic.  If you could help me to identify one or two physicians with considerable IOL and RK experience, that would be terrific. I would imagine that there is likely some ophthalmologists in my location who have collaborated with or studied under someone like Uday Devgan or Warren Hill or yourself.   As always, any thoughts that you can share will be much appreciated. Since I am asking for referrals, perhaps you would prefer to send a private message to me. Thank you.
