Birmonidine drops for edge-glare photic phenomena

I have a very disturbing positive dysphotopsias of my multifocal toric iol, practically, in special light condition, dim light mostly, peripheral light hits the edge of my iol and the light is being reflected inside (I think), reflecting the optic rings, so am practically see iol optic circles illuminated. When I use brimonidine, the circles disappear totally, probably because the pupil shrinks and peripheral light cannot hit the edges anymore. Other "central" halos around lights remain the same but it dont bother me. Am I correct in my hypothesis about the edge-related problem?
