OPTIC NERVE?

Hi I was diagnosed with having optic nerve neuropathy, my question is can they give me medication for it or will I have to have surgery? Thanks

There are many causes of optic neuropathy. Some can be helped, some can't. You will need to get this information from your Eye MD ophthalmologist.

There is no surgery for that.  They can give you immune suppressing drugs (like prednisone, a steroid)..which obviously has some pretty serious side effects.  It won't cure a thing, but can keep symptoms at bay.
