Optical prescription has changed

Hi

I had my eyes tested today and my prescription has changed in a number of ways. Basically I wondered if this is normal or is there likely to be a mistake, either with todays test or the previous one.

Old prescription:        Right: -2.25   +0.25   170
                                Left:   -2.25   +0.25   180

Todays prescription:   Right: -2.00   -0.25   92
                                 Left:  -2.00

Any advice would be great

You don't have hardly any astigmatism. No worry.

Thankyou John - I suppose I was more worried about the change in the astigmatisim is both eyes. I imagine from what you say that this is pretty normal and not something I should be worried about?

Those two prescriptions are almost identical.  + or - 0.25 is the smallest change possible on glasses. You will likely not be able to tell much difference at all.
