Pain in eye sockets

I was recently diagnosed with lattice degeneration.  Since my visit to my retina specialist  I have been having pain in my eyes.  Almost like a tired ache and sometimes it doesn't seem that sleep helps.  I take tylenol, that helps some.  Do you have any suggestions as to why?

I have lattice degernation also as does perhaps 10% of the population. In most cases it does not cause a problem. A certain percentage of retinal detachments (RD) develop from tears in lattice degeneration, thus in some individuals with a high risk of RD, ophthalmologists will seal the lattice shut with laser or freezing (cryo therapy).

Lattice is not painful, nor does it cause tired eyes or headaches.

Perhaps you're worrying too much about it. If the lattice was threatening the ophthalmologist (Eye MD Physician) would have recommended laser or cryo.
