Par planitis and lupus

First I would like to thank you for your answer to my question on Pars Planitis.  I have also learned that it may run hand in hand with Lupus.  I have a few symtoms of Lupus but my first blood test was negative.  My niece has Lupus and had a very bad flare up this last February she has lost her hair do to Lupus and is in a wheelchair.  I also know that the blood test are not concrete.  My Pars Planitis is still the same do to the fact that I cannot have the steriod injections anymore.  Could this be a sign of Lupus?

I doubt it.  Why is that you can not have steroid injections?  Is it due to pressure elevation?

You could consider a Ozurdex implant--lower incidence of pressure elevation.
