Post Chalazion Procedure

I just had a Chalazion removed from the top of my left eyelid on Tuesday May 22nd. The surgery went very well and my chalazion is completely gone. Here's my question.. I've noticed that I continue to have white oily discharge from my eyelid during the day. In the morning I wake up with this sticky build up that shuts my eye and I have to splash water on to open it up. Each day I get less of it but wondering if its a normal thing to expect after the procedure. During the day Ive used ice compresses like instructed and taken my medicine called BESIVANCE. The swelling after the procedure is almost gone. I'm so happy that my chalazion is gone! Thank You

This is normal. It should get better with time.
