Premium IOL Costs

My wife has been told that she is a candidate for the Acrysof Toric IOL. What kind of premium cost should we expect for this lens relative to a normal, insurance paid procedure?

I have to apologize again I checked with our business office and another and the toric in Kansas City is about $1000 extra.

I was told that it would be $500 per eye for the AcrySof toric IOL back in 2006.  (I'm in Chicago.)  I imagine that it's double that today (but much less than a multifocal/accommodating IOL).

There is so much variablity that I don't think we can be specific but I believe $2000-$3000 per eye would be ballpark.
