There are too many variables to offer you useful information except that only the center of your glasses has your RX the edge doesn't. to see clearly you need to move your head to keep your eyes centered in the center of the lens (this is called the optical zone.) Your glasses are thick on the edge and thin in the center.

Thank you. Will do... is there anything that you know of that would cause these problems that I can mention to the doctor to try to get it figured out?
Again, thanks for the comment/suggestion.
This is something you'll need to take up with whomever wrote the RX for the new glasses. Most Eye MD ophthalmologists and many optometrists do not charge for a "glasses recheck". Call and see if you can get a complimentary "glasses recheck

Also, I am not looking out of the side of the glasses... I am turning my head slightly and it is still blurry. It is only when I turn my head to look straight at something does my eyes clear up...
My old glasses, even though the prescription isn't up to date, I don't have this problem when I turn my head slight left and right... basically if I look at the television directly it is clear but if I turn my head slightly to the movie stand next to the television, it starts to get blurry and the more left and right i go, the worse it gets. Again, it is worse for the left eye.
