I am 20 years old and I've had eye problems for the last few years. My right eye is my stronger eye with 20/30 vision; with glasses, after surgery to attach my retina. My left eye is 20/100 with glasses. My concern is for my right eye though. I have scare tissue on my optic nerve and a little on my retina in my right eye. I also have a small cataract in my right eye due to the surgery two years ago. I am going to take a glare test to see if my cataract has to be removed. I have a few questions. Is cataract surgery a concern to my eye's health, in damaging it more? And, the scare tissue in my strong eye causes some distortion in my vision; not a lot but enough to be annoying, is there anything that can be done in the future to get rid and fix the scare tissue, like stem cell surgery? I'm just trying to keep positive and have something to look forward to so that maybe one day I'll possibly be back to 20/20 in both eyes! Thank you for your time and making my life easier!
Staying Positive,
Kevin
