Really bad bacterial pink eye

Last week I had to go to the doctor found out I had bacterial conjunctivitis. I wound up with a black eye and really really swollen eyelids. My eyeball was the color of blood with no white what so ever. I was given antibiotics in pill form and antibiotic eyedrops. All of that is better and gone now but I have noticed that on the inside of my eyelids the thin skin has turned white. This is on the top and bottom on the inside. It is still causing my eye to run and crust over at night and it seems really dry during the day. My eyelid was a touch swollen again this morning. I have one more day on the eyedrops and then I am to stop them. Could someone please tell me what this is and if it will go away???!!!! Thanks!!!!

Just wanted to say thanks. I took your advice and went back to the eye doctor today. He had to go in with tweezers and such and remove the white stuff. He said it was pretty much scabbed over. He said it was from rubbing it so much, the bacteria, and the meds. He gave me move drops and said we may have to do it one more time but hopefully not. Thanks for your time.
