Reasons for missing lights in field test

I am 39 and have been on oral steroids for a long period of time due to an autoimmune problem. I had a field test done and I did not see the number of lights I was suppose to. I repeated the test one month later and the results are the same. I was told they would repeat the test again in three months. Should any other tests be done. My eye pressure was normal at my last eye exam.

This discussion is related to Eye problem- floaters, loss of peripheral vision, flashes of light.

I would seek the opinion of a "glaucoma specialist" and have a full glaucoma workup done as soon as possible.  Sometimes glaucoma can occur with normal pressure (normal tension glaucoma), and steroid use has been demonstrated to affect intraocular pressure.
