Repeat yag operation

I have AMD in both eyes which causes seeing problems only in my right eye.
I have had cateract removed in both eyes and the improvement in my vision was extremely good - more distant signs in shops for instance and particularly seeing the ball when playing tennis.
However now my vision in my left eye (the important one for seeing small objects and reading) in non bright light has now become similar to the state before the cateract was removed. In bright light it's ok
What could be wrong, do I need a second yag operation? Or should I be just thankful for what I've got and retire from tennis

Go to my home page and look at Journal Postings and read the onces about age related macular degeneration and be sure you are doing everything to prevent progression.

You said you had cataract surgery in both eyes you did not say you had yag laser capsulotomy.  If you have not you may need it; if you have its very unusual to need a second time and you should see your Eye MD ophthalmologist to see if the AMD has got worse.
