Amen Don't get restor lens for no glasses. Messed my husband up big time. No help for him now!!!!
Please keep me posted on this problem and any suggestions for correction. Thank you

I had the restor lens implanted in both eyes for cataract surgery. I initially went to the opthalmologist due to night driving and halos around oncoming headlights. I subsequently had laser surgery also.
The good news is I don't need glasses to see or read and enjoy wearing regular sunglasses.
The bad news is the halos/spider webs with oncoming headlights is still a problem. I too hesitate to do anything additional to my eyes since Restor didn't correct the problem I went to the eye doctor for in the first place.
I am not too anxious to have the "extraction" as I wonder if any of it will do any good in the end. It seems the mono type lens has a better reputation after reading the posts in here. If only I had known.
Which ophthalmologist at Wilmer did you go to?
I was wondering about that too. These lens have ruined my life. I can't even cut my own nails and have trouble reading the computer which I never had before the surgery. Another thing is that I can no longer ride a bike since the restore lens have affected my spactial orientation. I am terrified to have them removed and go from bad to terrible..
I am looking very seriously at having the restor multifocal in both eyes.
At the moment, I wear readers, and my distant vision is starting to go ( 58 y/o ). and they tell me I have cataracts an one eye with astigmatism.
I am concerned about the very negative reviews above, but I am also interested in the success stories.
Can anyone let me know how these go for outdoor activities such as golf and in particular, hitting the golf ball, which is at the intermediate area?
Also, working where the vision is required at about 50cm to 100cm?
any feedback appreciated
cheers
