Scar On Left Cornea!

Since I am 55yrs. old and this started a long time ago as it was told to me, but this wasn't bad til after 2003, I wanted to know if the drops they put in my eye for checking my left eye for this, did that start the blurriness? because it still feels like the drops are still in my eye, my right eye is my good eye, yet I have to use a lot of the strength of my right eye to see, just am hoping someone can answer this!! Thank You!!

Hello, I just wanted to say that I went to my eye doctor today, (the 10th of Dec.) and I got my eyes checked, I told him about the scar on my cornea, he said he would check to find that, but after he did, he says there is no scar on my cornea, well, he says that it must have some how corrected, that wearing glasses will be better for me, that I will have to wear them for my type of job I do, (which is inspecting plastic parts while I am operating a Machine Press) so what I wanted to know is, can something like that happen, through the years since I had last gone to the eye doctor in 2004 (correcting the problem as having a scar on the Cornea)? the glasses that I have to wear are the Safety Glasses as well as to wearing them always, so I won't be wearing the store bought reading glasses anymore! the Safety Glasses are the same glasses I will be wearing for work and after work, having the safety-guards that are removable!! just had this question to ask you, since I couldn't get an answer from my eye doctor, he was really busy with other people for their eyes to be checked, I hope you can answer this for me!! Thank You!!!

I'm glad top hear that, at a point of what was done, the drops then had to dilate my eye, I forgot why, it was a while ago, I didn't even get anything on paper about it, but they said something about a contact lens to correct this, which was hard for me to understand, so it was done for at least that one day, after that, it was a very uncomfortable thing for me, I never wore it after that one day! but I don't know how that is, a corneal transplant? I'm  not sure I understand that, will I have to wait long for it to be done?! I hope it will be okay! Thank you for your comment!!

The drops for an eye exam will not cause a corneal scar.  You may need a corneal transplant.
