When does the red line, due to an eye scratch, in an infant go away?

My nine month old scratched her left eye around 2 months ago. That day, she was very uncomfortable and wanted to avoid bright lights. Her eye was also very watery and I could see a red line in the white of her eye. The next day she was fine so we didn't visit a Doctor. Now, almost two months later, the red line line where she scratched is still there. Plus there seem to be smaller pink lines close to it. When will they all go away? Her eye looks pink due to it.

I can't answer the question so you need to have your pediatrician look at it. Generally speaking at 2 months it should be healed and back to normal
