Side effects of Travatan

I have been using Travatan for a few days which was prescribed for me by an eye surgen.  My eye became blood shed (just one, the other is not bad).
The manual does say red eye is one of the side effects, but I find it abnormaly red and there is a mild dull pain.
Is this normal? Shall I stop using it at least for one eye?

Should a patient keep taking it even if the skin around the eye gets red and irritated, and if you say yes, what can you put on it to relieve the irritation?

Thank you for the reply.

My eye pressure are 18 and 22 and the doctor who saw me
told me they are more or less normal.  Do I still need the medicine?
He said I do have glaucoma thats for sure, (normal eye pressure glaucoma).
And when you said "medicine", you meant something other than
eye drops?

You need the medicine for pressure control.  Do not stop.  See your EyeMD.
