Smaller Optic of the Crystalens

Dr. Hagan,

Post Crystalens HD implant in one eye (monofocal in other), I have glare, starburst, halos etc. I do not have the same problem in the 6mm optic monofocal eye. Pilicorpine 1% helps but I do not view it as a long term solution because it affects my contrast sensitivity, wares off after a couple of hours and has potential long term side effects. I also have 2+ PCO. Would the Pilocarpine eliminating the symptoms suggest the problem is the smaller optic of the Crystalens or is it more likely the problem is the hazy capsule and the Pilocarpine masks the haze through the pinhole effect?
