Sore eyes, flashing, light sensitive

Hi I have double vision/very blurry, EVERY morning I wake up with sore eyes, flashing circles or lines of light when I first open my eyes. I have to wear sunglasses when I get up in the morning, even for the daylight coming through the blinds...I do NOT put on any lights for approx 10 minutes.  My eyes hurt when I rub them..the top lid.  I have tried Dry eye drops and gel...to see if it helps..I have a hard time with putting in drops (double vision) so I tried the gel...which made my eyes very blurry for quite awhile...and didn't help with the pain the next day etc.  I'm being tested for MS, Lupus etc...High ANA, high Sed rate (74)...Monoclonal bands, granulomas in my bone marrow... any ideas or this problem with my eyes?  I have seen a eye specialist about a year ago but I only had double vision and blurry vision...he said maybe you have dry eyes?
