Watery Eye

I have been struggling with a watery right eye for over a year.  I have been to three Drs.  1st surgery was (6/10) to put the tube in - that lasted 3 weeks.  2nd surgery was (8/10) DCR with tube - which stayed in 3 months.  I had the tube removed last week and my eye is still watering just as bad.  I always wipe my eye or the tears run down by my nose.  My Dr. who did the DCR is one of the best in my area.  He suggested a Jones tube next.  I don't think the issue is a clogged tear duct, as when I blow my nose - fluid gets on my glasses which makes me think that the duct is working normally.  I am not able to wear my contacts or makeup and I am losing hope that I will ever be able to again.  What help is left??

It's possible that something other than a blocked tear duct could be causing your tearing.  In your place, I'd get a second opinion from an experienced oculoplastic surgeon before getting a Jones tube.  I'd insist that they do tests to determine if and where there is blockage.
