I had a prescription of -1.25 (L) and -1.75 (R). I got PRK done for my right eye 11 days ago. I was told that my vision post-op would improve beyond pre-op levels after at least a few weeks after PRK. A week after the procedure, I put on my old prescription lenses (with my left eye closed) and noticed that I could see much clearer (20/25 with glasses and between 20/40 and 20/30 without). Currently, vision in my right eye is a bit blurry (both near and far), but my distant vision (without any glasses) with it is better than my left. This leads me to believe that my right eye's prescription is presently somewhere between -0.25 and -1. Is this normal for PRK or is this a sign of under-correction?
I know that vision can take up to 3 months to stabilize after PRK, but being able to see better with prescription lenses has made me worried about undercorrection.
