Temporary partial loss of sight

For about 2/3 minutes the top half of my left eye went black, as if a blind had been pulled down half way.    Sight appears to be normal now.   Do I need to go to an eye specialist?

Many thanks for your advice, and I visited my Ophthamologist today.   He advised that my problem was caused by a blood clot, and I have been put on Asprin to thin my blood.

Again many thanks.

Frank.

Consider that an emergency and call an Eye MD and try and get in immediately or call your family MD and explain what happened and hive them help you get in quickly. Some very serious things can cause this symptom.
