Thank you for your replies.  Apparently I had a pretty bad reaction to the drops.  I thought that was it, but I have been sick with a bad cold virus for several weeks, and wasn't sure. My cheeks were so red it looked like a sunburn when I came out of the doctors office.   Pain in my left eye, bloody eyeball, and pain in the left side of my head right above my ear and straight out from my left eye made me visit the opthalmologist.  I see the optometrist each year.

Thank you.  I thought I was over my cold virus, and felt great before the eye drops were used for dilation.  Today I feel stronger, and no nausea so far today.  Thanks again for all the help.

These symptoms not associated with you eyes may be related to your cold virus.

Thank you.  He did answer, but evidently I did not make my first question clear.  I am sort of in a daze of weakness, and a little bit of confusion.   Also, I have not exactly learned how to use this board very well, but I will strive to do better.

I am very pleased to find a place like this with such compassionate replies to a very worrisome issue.
