Given the amount of time since your surgery it is likely the image will always be "different" than normal vision. However the brain makes adjustments so that its not usually something you're aware of unless you go looking through just that eye. Discuss with your surgeon.

Thanks for your quick response. I'm 52 years old. Do you think this wll get better over time, since it has been about 12 weeks since the vitrectomy. My macular hole was about 1 week old before the vitrectomy. Thanks again
It is so common after macular hole surgery its the usual outcome. It is widely discussed in many posts here. Image looking smaller is called micropsia, larger is macropsia, distorted is metamorphopsia.
