Still suggest you get a second opinion

Thank you for reading my post.
I realize it won't get better unless I speak to the right person. I made an appointment with my surgeon to reassess since during every follow up someone else was giving me the information. I was either told that it go away over time, just give it time because the surgery was done so recently, or it won't go away but my brain will learn to ignore it. Inconsistent information.
I heard nothing but good things about the surgery before I had mine. I never thought I would see the lens, I don't recall that this was listed on the side effects/complication list. My feeling is that I am not supposed to see the lens. If thousands before me could get it done and see just fine after sx, I should be one of them too. I don't have a large pupil. 6mm then should be plenty from what I can see.
I contacted Alcon. They were dancing around the issue in correspondence, until finally they asked for my surgeon's contact info to report the "incidence". They never tried to answer the question. All I asked was for a few numbers. It may be a completely useless information, right now I am just curious. I will talk to my surgeon either way, but it won't be for another 2 weeks until he can see me. I am not looking for trouble. I had one of the best surgeons and I am happy with him, and I will go back to him for a revision if it has to be done. He has done more than 10.000 IOL surgeries so I trust this is something he can address.
I do hope the lens can be repositioned, I am still within the 3 month post op period. before it sets in the eye. I will pursue this until it is fixed because I can't live like this for the next 40 whatever years. Believe me it is bad enough that at the moment I don't care how big another operation would be, I just want this problem gone.
You can go on the Alcon website and try and find this information. 6 mm IOL is normally just fine unless the IOL decenters, slips out of place or in the event of a huge pupil. Get a second opinion. IOL exchange is not a small operation.
