White circles around my son's eyes

Hello,

My two year old son has been exposed to the sun and has developed a tan. He now has light cirles around his eyes and it looks as if he had on sunglasses. His Doctor suggested that I have him see a pediatric dermatologist. I am worried to death because the cirles have been getting lighter and we are protecting him from the sun. He does not rub them at home, but when I pick him up from school under his eyes sometimes look a little red. I am wondering if he has an allergy, eczema or could the light circles be Vitiligo?  Does Vitiligo start light and gradually turns white?

It too hard to tell even from the photos what the condition is. You may need to see both a ophthalmologist and a dermatologist. Get started now. If you live in the USA find one at www.aao.org or ask your pediatrician for a referral.
