aura on coughing

Hello everyone, I have been diagnosed with migraine variant, (silent migraine)
This means no head pain instead I have lots of other neurological disturbances including vertigo. 24/7 rocking.
I have recently acquired an annoying visual disturbance that is permanent, blurring or double vision, in right eye, a few years ago I started having stabbing eye pain.
Now when I cough or slightly strain, such as roll over in bed at night, I have a vision of an eclipse type of vision.
During the day it’s there as well but it’s dark in shade.
In the dark this eye always has a darker shade to it.

I know I have aura like flashing ect, but worry as this other one is in one eye and is permanent, I also have a fishnet permanent aura.
It worries me that it could be an eye problem and not a real migraine aura.

Dose anyone have any ideas as to what it could be.
I’m going to make an appointment with an ophthalmologist soon.

Thanks so much,
jenny

Hello Dr Hagan,
I've just seen a neuro-opthalmologist and he said I have perfectly healthy eye's, he said it was just an anomaly, It's somthing I'll probably have for the rest of my life, I then asked him if it was possibly caused by migraine damaging the brain in some smalll way, and he said he didnt know.
Ive heard some epileptics talk about having damage to their brains from constant partial siezure, and having this type of problem, and wondered if you believe atypical vertignous migraine could cause this?
thankyou in advance,
jenny
