Left Eye Pain, Odd heavy feeling on right temple

Ok, I do have glasses, I have had problems with dry eye in the past, but not severe enough to be prescribed anything, I also do have glaucoma in my family. Im throwing that information out for a better understanding on my situation. Awhile back I would have a reoccurring pain in my left eye. A sort of needle like pain, stabbing my eye, causing tearing and redness, not blotchy more murky like redness, you could see the tiny vessels  underlining the eye. That passed and now it's back but 10X worse, horrible pain, makes me squeeze my eye shut, and now there's an odd heavy like feeling on my right temple. For two days I wasn't able to look to the left with my left eye without there being a pain in both my eye and right temple. Now the temple pain has dulled out, I actually thought it went away till a couple minutes ago when my eye got another pain "attack" i felt the pain in my temple again. I'm not sure this could be caused by dry eye but then again im not sure it couldnt. It really hurts, im still dealing with it, even now typing this I have my left eye squeezed shut.

I did read something about "cluster headaches" but I want a second opinion.

What would cause a muscle imbalance to get better as well as my nearsidedness. 3 weeks ago my doc. was prescibing 1 1/4 prisms today only 1/2 prism and my nearsidedness improved in both eyes MRI and MRA was negative for tummor, stoke or any optic nerve issues. My blood sugar is good. Neuro Op said nothing is obviously causing the imbalance.

Cluster headaches usually do not cause sharp pain.  This is probably related to your dry eyes.  Please see an EyeMD.
