blue sclera

I am a 51 year old female and this afternoon I noticed that the whites of my eyes are blue.  This is not accompanied by any other symptoms.  I was just wondering if there is an easy explaination for this or if it requires medical treatment?  Thank you for you time.

Re: whites of your eyes turning blue.
You aren't by any chance taking colloidal silver are you?
If so, take a look at the following website link. It is about a man who turned blue...including the whites of his eyes, because of taking too much colloidal silver.

Just thought I'd ask because you never know.

You should have it checked by an eye MD ophthalmologist-physician. Find one at www.aao.org  the most common cause is age induced thinning of the white of the eye (sclera) allowing the blue choroid under it to show through.
