blurred vision

Hi
I am 34 and I have a problem with my right eye. the problem started last week as i had very bad headache and dizziness and then I started to loose the vision on my right eye I see like something covered with voile and i can't read any writing when i cover my left eye i only see a white shadowed pictures. I normally suffer of minor migraine. I went to the A&E and they checked my blood and sugar level witch was fine and they sent me to an eye specialist doctor, the doctor put some drops and anesthetics on my eyes and measured the pressure and looked to the bck of my eye and said every thing normal there was no damage of my eye organ and she couldn't diagnose the reason of my vision loss. I came home with the same problem and this morning is getting worse so i don't know what to do raly could you please advice me what to do,
Many thanks

Thank you John C Hagan,

I did go to Moorfields eye hospital in London yesterday, and they examined me again. Although I couldn't see the light at all with my right eye it was a huge difference compare to my right eye the ophthalmologist said i have got an inflammation in the eye nerve , i can't really remember the name of it as it was a strange and long name and hi said is a bit comment and can happen to a lot of people and will recover by itself in a couple of weeks with no medicine. and he will refer me to a neuro-ophthalmologist, and of course i have to wait for couple of weeks.
when i am laying doing it seems a little bit clearer but when i get up and walk few steps goes back. I am considering to go to a private neurologist, could please advice me do have to wait or go ahead with the private option.
Many thanks and sorry about my English as the language is not my mother tang.

April101: I cannot help that sort of problem nor is it an internet problem. I suggest you make an appointment with a neuro-ophthalmologist or other staff ophthalmologist at the University of Indiana School of Medicine alternately go to www.aao.org and find a neuroophthalmologist near your. Assemble all your old records to take in with you.

a migraine comes on rather quickly lasts up to an hour then vision clears. If your vision is staying blurred then its much less likely to be migraine. Suggest you return to the ophthalmologist or get a second opinion. Find one near you at www.aao.org

At your age 35 the most common cause by far would be a migraine variant that affects the eye sometimes with or without headache. Use the search feature to read previous posts.

Discuss with your personal physician. It is important to rule out disease of the brain, heart and blood vessels. You have already see an eye MD ophthalmologist.

If you're on birth control pills discuss with your GP or gynecologist. If you smoke STOP NOW.
