Thanks for the response. I saw A specialist a couple years back, & he said that instead of a surgery there is some kind of material that will cover  the spot . Is that a better thing to do ? & do you happen to know what is it called ?
If the spot doesn't require removal would if it is a danger to me

A spot on your eye that hasn't grown significantly in 10 years rarely ever requires removal. They are very common, to remove it because you don't like the way it looks is cosmetic surgery and not covered by insurance. Moreover you are a legal minor and there are way too many legal risks to remove it even for cosmetic reasons. So I doubt any reputable ophthalmologist will take it off. Moreover it could grown back or the scar it leaves could be a lot more noticable than the spot.

Hi There! I Am A 15 Year Old Girl & I have A Brown Spot In My White Part Of Right Eye. I've Had It For About 10 Years Now, & I Want It Removed. I'm Seeing A Specialist MD, & right now they made a 3 month appt to see if it grew & I think it's a waste of time. Can anything be down.?  A couple years back I went to a specialist & they were saying that there is some kind of material that will cover it up but that doctor moved. Help ? Any advice ? Should I see a different doctor. In California

generally they are benign and removal is not recommended, no approved by insurance companies. You might end up paying for all costs out of your pocket.
