bulging /sort of big left eye

Hello. noticed my left eye looked a bit odd last thursday, sort of bigger than the other one, and as if it had been lifted higher than the right eye. I went to the docs yesterday and she says it is protrudeing andhas arranged an mri scan, but the consultant she spoke to has said its v probably thyroid eye disorder.also took blood sample
I went to the casualty dept today as  I panicked and didnt want to wait for my mri appt. two eye doctors looked, and measured the eyes protrusion , only with a hand held instrument, and they couldnt see a difference in the protrusion, but said it looked bigger,but maybe cos of another reason. they said not to panic, it isnt an emergency and to see specialist at appointed time.
anyway, my point is, i had a massive argument, i mean massive, where i got really angry with my husband a couple of weeks ago, could that have made something burst or whatever? also 7 weeks ago , my dentist implanted some bone in my lower jaw cos my back molar has been removed and i need an implant. it is on the same side as the bad eye, could that make my eye higher or saggier or whatevers gone wrong with it?

am worried sick

Thankyou for your response. It is of some comfort that I havent brought this on myself by getting mad or choosing to have a dental implant!

I will be happier once someone has diagnosed me--roll on sep 3rd!!

1. Your fit of anger would not cause the eye to bulge
2. It is highly unlikely that the dental work caused the problem, if it did it would generally cause a fulmanent eye socket infection that would cause you to have high temperature, bulging red eye and deathly ill.
