cloudy vision after ppv gas vitrectomy

I had my vetrectomy 10 days ago to fix macular hole, gas is almost gone. They also did cataract with a powered lens as I am high myopic.

My vision has definitely improved but but my vision is so cloudy I can hardly see. My surgeon examined this condition and says it is due to some inflammation.

Wanted to know how long before cloudiness to go away.
I am extremely concerned.

Thanks

I found many posts describing the same situation as mine but nobody mentioned how long it took for the cloudiness to go away. My question is, is this something to be expected? If so, will it ever go away?
This is the answer. No one knows for sure including your surgeon.   It will be many months before you know the results of your surgery. You will have to live with the uncertainty.  Discuss with your surgeon next visit.
