coverage for complications for multifocus

If one chooses to pay the additional fee for multifocus lens, and then has complications, will Medicare pay for additional treatments for correction of the original surgery?

Have you had your surgery yet?  If not, please read extensively about multifocal lenses.  There is a LOT of information out there, and it's important for patients to be as aware as they can be of the pros and cons of various types of multifocal lenses, since one size definitely does not fit all.  Take a look at this comparison chart, for example:

I don't know. Medicare is constantly changing their rules and regulations plus it's had 715 billion dollars taken out of it to pay for the so called "Affordable Care Act". JCH MD
