dark spots - same in both eyes

Lately I sometimes see a cluster of about 3 darkish spots in my vision, which move slowly when I look at them.  At first I thought they were just floaters, but when I close one eye I see them, and then when I switch eyes (that is, close the other eye instead) they are still there, in the same position and continuing the same movement as in the other eye.  So I am seeing the same strange spots in both eyes?

The closest image I can find on vision simulators that looks like them is scotoma, except they are not that dark, they are greyish spots, round not strings.

What might this be?  It's so strange that I see the same image from either eye.

Many posters from Canada have discussed their difficulty with seeing an ophthalmologist, having special tests such as OCT or getting necessary treatment.

Thank you.   I am working earnestly on trying to find an opthalmologist that will take my concerns seriously, even if it means going to the US.  I'm in Canada.    Am working now on an application for out of country health coverage.  No idea how long that might take, but my guess is that it won't be quick.

to VCI, no I don't see any green sparkles.

does this relate to also seeing an explosion of green sparkles in both eyes when looking at light or bright areas.

That is a symptom that requires a visit to the ophthalmologist Eye MD to investigate. See one soon. Find one at www.aao.org or ask your family MD for a rerral.
