dry eye
i was dianosed with dry & was recommended a precedure called Lipiflow. It costs $1600.00 and not garanteed to last forever. Since its fairly new, they say it could last upto 18mths to 3yrs. Has anyone had this precedure & any info, commnents or ideas welcome.
This treatment has exceptional results specifically for treatment of dry eye caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). If MGD is causing your dry eye, it is worth the $. The treatment is minimally invasive meaning no need for punctal plugs, lid scrubs and other very painful alternatives. I have been treated and can now wear contacts to correct my vision which before didn't even cross my mind because I had so much trouble with my eyes!

I am not familiar with the product. Sounds too good to be try. It may help, but I believe you need frequent treatment.
