few questions about chalazion removal.

It has been 14 days since my surgery.  How soon after surgery can I resume wearing makeup?  Also at this time the bump as been growing since day 5 to the original size of the lump. It is hard and is acting the same as it did before surgery.  I am also experiencing some dull pain and twitching. Is it safe to say that this is not just scar tissue or inflamed but a chalazion that is filling back up.
Very frustrated.
Thanks in advance.

you have to realize the limitations of an internet forum and some of the legal restraints imposed by MedHelp.org and practice of medicine license.  You will need to ask your surgeon about make up and its not possible to tell you if the chalazion is re-accumulating.  As a generalization a chalazion never goes away fast enough for patients.

Thank you for your time.
also preventing another one is important read the posts about treatment of blepharitis, warm compresses, lid foam and pad cleaners such as ocusoft plus plantinum.
Ive been using all of those. I do not have blepharitis.  I do however have extremely oily skin/lids. Can crying a lot cause chalazions?
No crying does not cause chalazion
