Eye drop before measuring the eye pressure

Hi Dr.

Today i went see a eye doctor for complete eye exam. Before taking my eye pressure my eye doctor used a eye drop in my eye and it made my eye yellow for some time. He said bcz of this drop i will not feel anything while taking the pressure. I could not see the correct name of the drop but it is something start with F and end with SES... Is it normal using this king of drop, which makes eye yellow?

Thanks a lot.

It also turns your runny-nose fluid yellow--real yellow! As I noticed once when I blew my nose into a Kleenex shortly after getting the drops.

Yes, we use it for just about every patient. It's call fluoress and contains a yellow dye fluorscene used in the glaucoma pressure test and an anesthetic numbing medication.
