Colds, coughing and sneezing are not a credible cause of retinal detachments.

Can sneezing/coughing repeatedly cause complications in a patient with posterior vitreous detachment (nearly complete)?i see few rapidly floating floaters and my vitreous keeps sloshing around all the time on eye movement. So can coughing or sneezing cause further complications like retinal tears or pulls????? These sneezes are inevitable during cold or allergies.
IT develops as the eye becomes myopic. The eye elongates. The optic nerve rotates as the eye elongagates. It is not something that affects vision so don't worry about it.

is myopic disc present since birth? or does it become this way as myopia progresses?please explain in detail as i'm unable to find this information online.
1. Use Google images and google the term to see one. Its a disk that is smaller than normal and often rotated. 2. It signifies myopia
