does Boush-Lomb (?spelling) make a monofocal IOL and if so how good is it? Compared to Technis and others? My surgeon is recommending the Boush- Lomb> Thanks for any feedback. Duane54

Are you referring to the aspheric lens from Bausch & Lomb (think its the Sofport)? All three manufacturers of aspheric lenses (including AMO's Tecnis and Alcon's AcrySof IQ) claim that their lens is the best. I think they are all good lenses.
