No not to you or to your eye. You are not the first to do this so don't be too hard on yourself.

Would anything happen if you kept taking them?
That would not make any sense at all. If the eye doesn't need the drops don't use them.
I should be worded it differently, so if you take the IOP eye drops what happens if you stop taking them if your IOP is slight elevated
Are the eye drops prescribed to you by your eye doctor for higher than normal IOP? Do you use them daily regularly? What is the name of the eye drops specifically?

My IOP is elevated but my doctor didn't prescribe me eye drops because I'm a "glaucoma suspect" I've been trying to eat foods that lower IOP.... But what I don't understand is why my the eye doctor not give me drops of my eyes are elevated... I understand there are side effects of eye drops but I'm only 20 years and I could possibly get glaucoma ...? No one in my family has had glaucoma and the doctor told me that patients that have no family history or glaucoma, only 10% go on to get glaucoma... But that was probably a lie because that's all doctors do is sugar coat stuff and lie to you.. Fact but the eye drops are Pharmaceuticals Falcon
I would get a second opinion from an Eye MD ophthalmologist, if possible one that specializes in glaucoma. Glaucoma suspects do not require treatment in most cases. At your age it is very unlikely you have glaucoma or if you get glaucoma not until you are in your 60's. You should not be trying to treat yourself and put glaucoma drops in that were not prescribed for you.  Sounds like your doctor was honest with you and you need to work on your attitude about physicians.
What foods, natural medicine or remedies lower IOP? Any suggestions
Glaucoma is not basically a lifestyle disease like heart disease or diabetes is. However recent research indicates dark leafy green vegetable may reduce pressure in eyes.

The actual name of the medication would be helpful. If you have a prostaglandin analogue it may make your eye lashes grow longer. Infact a cosmetic version of one of these drops exists for just that purpose. Other side effects may happen if you have a beta blocker and are potentially serious if you have heart or respiratory issues. Long story short--dont self medicate.

Your eye pressure will probably be lowered temporarily for a day or so.  I doubt that would be bad.
