What's wrong with my eyes when studying?

Symptoms: My problem is that words seem to float, and become blurry. After some reading it feels like I become ‘snow-blind’. This causes me to skip words and sentences. Another problem is that my vision is drawn to the right side. I can easily miss headlines and tend to focus on the larger text font size, missing important information in smaller size fonts. Does anyone else suffer from this? It is not linked to Dyslexia – the Dyslexia test was negative for me. I have been advised to place a colour filter over the page before reading and this does help me to focus more accurately, possibly because it is a green ‘calming’ colour. I also have purple and yellow filters. “

I have a similar issue only with printed books, or newspapers or magazine articles. Mainly because the font is way too small and I have tunnel vision so I always lose my spot.

My fix was getting  an e-reader such as a Kindle or iPad.
